Job summary

OEG, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Construction Project Engineer to support the Portland Metro team. You will assist with job cost tracking, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, and change orders to keep projects on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates have a construction or electrical background, strong document control skills, and proficiency with MS Office and Access. This role emphasizes communication and multi-tasking in a field environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent experience of 3 years or more.
• Capable of understanding construction methodologies and managerial processes.

Responsibilities

• Track construction contract design changes and updates.
• Monitor project progress and track job costs.
• Coordinate design changes within the construction team.
• Assist with change orders and change-order log maintenance.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the project schedule.
• Assist in submittals and RFI logs.
• Prepare project submittals and written RFIs for client submission.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
