Job summary

PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC seeks a highly organized Assistant Project Manager to support transmission, distribution, and substation construction projects within our Renewables/Drilling division. This role serves as a key link between project management, field operations, accounting, and clients to ensure projects run efficiently from initiation through closeout.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Construction Management, or related field).
• 2–5 years of experience in construction project coordination or administration.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore or similar platforms).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to the metro area.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination.
• Maintain project files, logs, and documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes).
• Track project schedules, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Assist with contract review and ensure documentation compliance.
• Assist with job cost tracking, purchase orders, and invoice processing.
• Support change order preparation and tracking.
• Help monitor budgets and forecast updates.
• Coordinate onboarding documentation and compliance requirements for field staff.
• Track equipment and material deliveries.
• Support project closeout documentation and final reporting.
• Attend project meetings and distribute summaries.
• Act as a liaison between operations, accounting, safety, and clients.
• Support weekly and monthly reporting processes.
