Job summary

EC Electric is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the National Technical Systems Group with coordination between construction project management and field staff.

You will assist with project documentation, submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, change orders, and scheduling, driving timely payments and quality controls. This full-time role offers growth opportunities, a strong benefits package, and the chance to contribute to major projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordinating construction projects preferred.
• Familiarity with submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing project documentation (submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes).
• Assist supervision of project activities and coordination with PMs and field staff.
• Maintain change orders, submittal and document logs within Viewpoint.
• Assist with subcontractor interactions to obtain required documentation and manuals.
• Create Job Information Sheets and establish job files under PM/PX direction.
• Read and understand electrical drawings and specs at a basic level.
• Support project budgeting setup in Viewpoint with Field Supervisors.
• Ensure payroll data submitted accurately in collaboration with Payroll.
