Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial construction projects throughout the Baltimore region. The role involves managing all aspects from preconstruction through closeout, including client relationships, budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, project financials, and team coordination.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in construction, with a solid grasp of project financials and risk management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within construction.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, electrical, mechanical, or related contracting.
• Strong understanding of project financials, contracts, and change management.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from award through completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and scope requirements.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, project costs, and profitability.
• Lead change order management and risk assessment activities.
• Coordinate procurement activities with vendors and subcontractors.
• Review and submit payment applications, submittals, RFIs, change requests, and closeout documents.
• Attend project meetings and maintain communication with all stakeholders.
• Ensure project financials are accurate and up to date.
• Promote safety, quality, and operational excellence on every project.
• Partner with field leadership to successfully execute projects.
• Identify opportunities for additional business and future work.
