Job summary

Superior is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects at a Detroit, Michigan site. You will report to the Senior Project Manager and oversee scheduling, budgeting, and field coordination to ensure project progress.

This role emphasizes collaboration with the Superintendent and Foremen, maintaining safety standards and driving projects to successful completion on time and within scope. Relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of project operations or PM experience in commercial construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or related field preferred, with CM certificate optional.
• Experience with design-build, hard bid and negotiated projects in the $5M–$50M range.
• Extensive knowledge of construction management software.
• Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate and manage project risk and escalate to leadership with solutions.
• Create and manage the full project schedule from kickoff to closeout.
• Manage all project finance requirements including billings, setup, cost control, and change orders.
• Build client trust through effective communication and collaboration.
• Chair project meetings with customers and coordinate with operations teams.
• Ensure materials are available and on-site as needed.
• Provide clear leadership and guidance to the project team.
• Review contracts, estimates, drawings, and specifications.
