Job summary

The Superior Group in Indiana is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects on a Fort Wayne site. You will manage project scope, schedule, budget, and coordinate with the Superintendent and Foremen to ensure safety and on-time completion.

The role requires at least 4 years in project operations or commercial construction; a bachelor’s degree in Construction Systems Management or related field is preferred, along with experience on mid-to-large

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of project operations/project management experience in commercial construction or equivalent field operations management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or related field or Construction Management certificate.
• Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $5M to $50M.
• Extensive knowledge in construction management software.
• Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate and manage project risk, and elevate concerns and solutions quickly to leadership.
• Create and manage the full project schedule from kickoff to closeout.
• Manage all project finance requirements including billings, setup, cost control, and change orders.
• Build strong client relationships through clear communication and collaboration.
• Chair project meetings and coordinate with customers for updates and reviews.
• Ensure materials are available across departments and guide the team to project success.
• Review project documents including estimates, drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Ensure timely completion of all closeout procedures and maintain jobsite safety.
