Qualifications

• 5–8 years of project management experience in electrical construction.
• Experience working for an electrical contractor.
• Strong budgeting, cost-control, and project scheduling experience.
• Willingness to work onsite five days per week in Dexter, MI; travel up to ~60 miles.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full scope of electrical construction projects ranging from several hundred thousand dollars to $40 million.
• Oversee project budgets, costs, schedules, quality standards, and financial performance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Develop strong working relationships with field personnel and visit local project sites several times per week.
• Coordinate labor, materials, purchasing, subcontractors, and project resources.
• Partner with the purchasing manager to negotiate orders with vendors and subcontractors.
• Review project risks, change requests, billing requirements, and contract deliverables.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure deadlines do not fall through the cracks.
• Manage multiple active projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy.
• Support projects across healthcare, higher education, light industrial, and automotive environments.
• Resolve project challenges quickly through clear communication, sound judgment, and hands‑on leadership.
