Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) is seeking a Construction Project Manager for our Commercial team in San Jose, CA. You will lead day-to-day construction operations, manage budgets, schedule, and safety, and drive successful project delivery.

This role requires 5+ years in electrical construction, strong leadership, contract knowledge, and ability to coordinate with engineers, superintendents and clients. On-site work in the Greater Bay Area with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 5+ years of related experience managing Electrical Construction on Commercial or Industrial Projects.
• 5+ years of management experience, including client interface, planning and execution, and staff supervision.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, supervisory and planning skills.
• Thorough knowledge of construction, union jurisdiction, labor agreements and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial performance of the assigned project, including cost control and forecasting.
• Coordinate planning meetings with Superintendents, General Foremen, and Project Engineers.
• Review estimates and drawings to determine resources and schedule requirements.
• Develop and maintain monthly job cost updates and contingency planning.
• Create and approve change orders with clients and vendors to ensure scope alignment.
