Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar preferred.
• Typically requires 5+ years of related experience managing electrical construction on commercial/industrial projects.
• 5+ years of management experience including client interface and staff supervision.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, supervisory and planning skills.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, union jurisdiction, and labor agreements.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial performance of the assigned project, including cost control and forecasting.
• Lead planning meetings with Superintendents, General Foremen, and Project Engineers.
• Review estimates, drawings, and specs to determine scope and schedule.
• Develop monthly job cost updates, cost-to-complete assessments, and contingency planning.
• Create and approve change orders to ensure proper scope and financial recovery.
• Plan and supervise activities of company crews and subcontractors.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; maintain risk register.
• Interpret and enforce contract requirements for project execution.
• Resolve field issues to avoid schedule impacts and rework.
• Serve as SME for project scopes; ensure clear requirements and obligations.
• Communicate with department leads, engineers, stakeholders and clients.
• Partner with Production to align field execution with client expectations.
• Ensure safety, quality and productivity standards are met.
• Lead project closeout activities and support for claims resolution.
• Represent CEI’s culture and values in daily work.
