Job summary

W. G. Yates & Sons Construction Company is seeking a Superintendent to oversee all field operations for a project area, coordinating with project management, engineers, and trades to ensure safety, schedule, quality, and budget.

Ideal candidates will have a university degree in Construction Management or related field, at least six years of experience, and proven leadership in managing multi-million-dollar scopes, with strong communication and mentoring skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or related field required or substitution possible.
• Six years of industry experience preferred.
• Experience managing scopes over $1M and coordinating with owners/architects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subs.
• Schedule activities and deliver instructions to trades and crews.
• Lead preconstruction meetings and toolbox talks.
• Manage safety, quality, risk, and project compliance.
• Oversee site logistics, plans, and scopes of work.
• Review progress, drive recovery plans, and manage close-out.
• Lead meetings with stakeholders and coordinate CPM scheduling.
