Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Foreman to lead field crews on electrical construction projects. You will plan productivity, manage material phasing, and ensure tools, equipment, and information packages are organized for daily field operations.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely reporting with a focus on maintaining accurate as-built drawings and site cleanliness. Responsibilities include QC inspections, incident reporting within 24 hours, and daily time and unit submissions for crews.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in the electrical industry with a HS diploma or GED.
• 6+ years with an Associate degree.
• Journeyman Electrical License required or to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Productivity planning for assigned scope of work.
• Material phasing and inventory tracking for each crew.
• Identify tools and equipment required and sign in/out at gang boxes.
• Prepare information packages for each crew activity.
• Enforce breaks and time tracking.
• Submit daily hours/units for each crew member.
• Perform QC inspections following the QC plan and checklists.
• Install work to high-quality standards.
• Maintain and update as-built drawings weekly.
• Inventory tools/equipment and submit end-of-day reports.
• Report lost/stolen/damaged tools.
• Review AHA’s and obtain crew signatures.
• Submit daily equipment inspection sheets weekly.
• Follow procedures for accident/incident reporting within 24 hours.
• Ensure clean-up and site ready state at day end.
