Job summary

PALMETTO GROUP is seeking a job-site supervisor in the New Kent/Providence Forge, VA area. The full-time role oversees residential electrical crews, monitors progress, and supports safety and quality on site.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Construction Managers, reviewing plans, and assisting with installations, takeoffs, and bid prep. A minimum of 3 years of residential electrical experience and a valid US driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of residential electrical experience or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Valid US Driver's License and driving record that passes insurer requirements.
• Ability to read and write in English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist Construction Managers in monitoring workflows and crews.
• Ensure safety standards and model company safety policies.
• Review plans with crews and visit sites daily.
• Report progress and coordinate with managers, schedulers, and builders.
• Assist with electrical installations, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Support material takeoffs and bids from the field.
• Communicate with builders and subcontractors on issues and follow up.
