Job summary

AllSearch Professional Staffing is seeking an Electrical Construction Foreman for Hampton Roads, VA. This on-site, full-time role will oversee electricians and apprentices while performing installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks across commercial, municipal, roadway, and industrial projects.

The candidate will read electrical drawings, install and service equipment, and ensure NEC compliance. Travel to project sites in the Hampton Roads area is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electricians or crews on commercial, municipal, roadway, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical codes.
• Able to read electrical drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, specs, and manuals.
• Hands-on conduit installation and electrical equipment work.
• Ability to direct field crew and provide on-site training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices on various electrical construction projects.
• Perform hands-on electrical installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and manuals.
• Install, terminate, service electrical equipment and distribution systems.
• Coordinate field activities and direct crew assignments.
