Job summary

PALMETTO RESIDENTIAL ELECTRIC OF VA LLC in Providence Forge, VA is seeking a supervisor to oversee residential electrical crews on multiple jobs. You will monitor workflow, review rough-ins, trims, and inspections, and coordinate with the Construction Manager, Site Scheduler, and builders.

The role requires at least 3 years of residential electrical experience, a valid driver's license, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of residential electrical experience or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid US issued Driver's License.
• A US Driving Record that passes the Company’s insurance carrier’s approval requirements to drive for the Company.
• Ability to read and write in English proficiently, including interpreting documents, operating and maintenance instructions, invoices, shipping/packing lists, and materials lists.
• Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with vendors, service dealers, customers and all levels of company personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist Construction Managers in managing jobs in assigned neighborhoods by monitoring and assisting the workflow and coordinating crews.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and model our safety policies and procedures.
• Review roughs and trims with crews using plans.
• Visit crews to review performance and provide corrective actions.
• Assist in completing walk-throughs after rough-ins, trims and hot checks.
• Communicate job progress and scheduling needs to Construction Manager and Scheduler.
• Assist with electrical installations, troubleshooting and repair as needed.
• Assist in material takeoffs from the field for templates and bids.
• Log into schedules and provide feedback to Market Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
