Job summary

NextDecade is seeking a full-time Engineer, Brownfield Projects Electrical, to support the Rio Grande LNG facility near Brownsville, Texas. The role focuses on FEED/EPCC activities and coordinating multiple contractors and vendors to ensure safety, on-schedule delivery, and compliance with technical standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years as Brownfield Projects Engineer in oil and gas.
• Professional Engineering license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure FEED/EPCC activities by Contractors and Vendors meet safety, schedule, and budget targets.
• Coordinate technical clarifications and reviews (HAZID/HAZOP/SIL/QRAs).
• HSE orientation, site surveys, and KPI monitoring for project delivery.
