Job summary

Talentify is seeking a BIM / VDC Coordinator (Electrical Construction) in Boise, ID to support planning, coordination and execution of electrical projects using BIM/VDC technologies. This role suits someone with strong electrical construction knowledge transitioning into modeling and preconstruction, working with project managers, field leadership, and design teams.

You will create 3D models, perform clash detection, develop detailed layouts, and help standardize BIM practices across projects in

Qualifications

Associate's degree or technical training in drafting, engineering technology, construction management, or a related field.
Exposure to data center, manufacturing, healthcare, higher education, or large commercial electrical projects.
Familiarity with design, drafting, schematic development, and 3D modeling concepts.
Experience working with conduit, wiring, and other core aspects of electrical construction.
Understanding of BIM, VDC, and construction technology workflows in a project environment.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain electrical BIM models.
Support clash detection and coordination with trade partners.
Develop detailed electrical layouts, routing plans, and installation drawings.
Collaborate with project managers, field leadership, and design teams to ensure model accuracy.
Review design documents to identify opportunities to increase field efficiency.
Generate shop drawings and prefabrication drawings.
Learn and standardize BIM/VDC best practices across projects.
