Job summary

Helix Electric Inc. seeks an Electrical VDC Coordinator to lead BIM modeling for electrical systems and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. You will work under a VDC Manager, prepare model content in line with the BIM Execution Plan, and produce shop drawings for field use.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of electrical BIM experience.
• Portfolio showing 1-3 coordinated projects.
• Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.

Responsibilities

• BIM modeling of electrical systems.
• Work under the direction of a VDC Manager.
• Coordinate with other disciplines at VDC coordination meetings.
• Adhere to BEP (BIM Execution Plan).
• Prepare electrical model content for VDC coordination meetings.
• Create shop drawings for field use.
• Maintain strong verbal and written communication.
• Understand single line diagrams and electrical drawings.
• May require field site visits and possible project-site stationing.
• Coordinate with Superintendents and field personnel on installation means and methods.
