Job summary

SemiConX seeks a VDC BIM Coordination Designer to join on-site in Boise, Idaho. You will refine a multidiscipline Revit model, coordinate with architects and engineers, and perform Navisworks clash detection to resolve issues before they reach the field.

You will translate designs into clean construction documents and shop drawings, maintain project standards and codes, and keep digital deliverables organized and current. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own accurate, coordinated 3D BIM models across architectural, structural, and MEP scopes.
• Partner with architects, engineers, and construction teams to drive design alignment.
• Run clash detection and facilitate resolution to eliminate field conflicts.
• Produce construction documentation and shop drawings derived from BIM models.
• Apply and maintain project standards, applicable codes, and best practices.
• Manage model health, version control, and BIM databases throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support design development through construction and renovation phases.
• Provide BIM technical support and informal training to teammates.
