Job summary

Helix Electric is seeking an Electrical VDC Coordinator to design BIM models for power and building systems. You will work under a VDC Manager and coordinate with other disciplines in regular BIM meetings.

This role requires 3–5 years of electrical BIM experience and a portfolio of 1–3 projects, with strong Autodesk software skills and excellent communication. On-site duties may include site visits and collaboration with field personnel.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of electrical BIM experience for power or building systems.
• Portfolio showing 1-3 coordinated projects.
• Strong knowledge of Autodesk suite used for BIM delivery.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• BIM modeling of electrical systems for projects.
• Work under the direction of a VDC Manager.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines in VDC coordination meetings.
• Follow BEP BIM Execution Plan and generate shop drawings.
• Maintain clear written and verbal communication with field and office teams.
• Possibly conduct field site visits and support installation planning.
