Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Virtual Designer in Florida to work with the VDC team on electrical design and BIM modeling. You will join project executives to create accurate construction documents and coordination packages, focusing on constructability and workflow integration.

The role requires CAD expertise with AutoCAD and Revit, strong NEC knowledge, and experience in Autodesk tools and Bluebeam. A high school diploma is required, with a technical degree preferred, and a hybrid work arrangement

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of CAD experience with electrical design.
• Strong NEC knowledge and standards application.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and BIM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Draft electrical design plans and BIM models in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with management and design teams to meet milestones.
• Prepare documents for MEP trades and perform clash detection.
• Model complete electrical distribution and low voltage systems per plan.
