Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking a Virtual Designer to join our VDC team in Florida. You will work with project executives to produce construction documents and BIM electrical/low-voltage models, focusing on design and constructability to support our field teams.

As a CAD expert with AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM workflow, you’ll draft drawings, run clash detection, and contribute to MEP coordination. A strong eye for quality, NEC knowledge, and collaboration will help you thrive in our fast-paced,

Qualifications

• At least three years of CADD experience with AutoCAD and Revit (BIM).
• Perfectionist with knowledge of NEC.
• Advanced Autodesk design suite skills, Bluebeam, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Draft accurate and cost-effective electrical design plans and BIM models.
• Coordinate with project management and design teams to meet milestones and deliverables.
• Prepare documents for MEP trades, perform clash detection, and document Total Station layouts.
• Model electrical distribution, power, lighting and low voltage systems in BIM execution plan.
