Job summary

Power Design Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Virtual Designer to generate precise electrical BIM models and documentation. You will collaborate with VDC leaders to deliver coordinated drawings and ensure constructability across projects.

Required three years of CADD with AutoCAD and Revit, NEC knowledge, and strong Autodesk skills. Hybrid work options support work-life balance with a cutting-edge campus and team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• At least three years of CADD experience with AutoCAD and Revit (BIM), including modeling and clash detection.
• Strong attention to quality with general electrical knowledge and NEC understanding.
• Advanced Autodesk design suite skills, Bluebeam, and MS Office experience.
• High school diploma or GED; technical school degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• In a high-energy environment, draft accurate electrical design plans and BIM models meeting project milestones.
• Communicate with project management and design teams to produce high-quality drawings.
• Prepare documents for MEP trades, perform clash detection, and coordination.
• Model complete electrical distribution, power, lighting, and low voltage systems per BIM plan.
