Job summary

Power Design Inc. is seeking a BIM Specialist - PreFab to collaborate with engineers and the preconstruction team to create innovative, value-engineered electrical construction plans for large-scale projects.

You will draft accurate CAD drawings, coordinate with project management, and prepare external references for complex electrical systems. Qualified candidates have at least two years of CADD experience with AutoCAD and Revit (BIM), 3D modeling, and a strong understanding of NEC.

Qualifications

• A motivated CAD and drafting modeling program guru who takes the time to do things right and focuses in on what’s important in an ever-changing environment.
• At least two years of CADD experience working with programs like AutoCAD and Revit (BIM); 3D modeling experience preferred.
• A perfectionist who is obsessed with quality and has general electric knowledge, including an understanding of NEC.

Responsibilities

• Draft accurate and cost-effective electrical design plans in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
• Communicate and collaborate with project management and the design team to create high quality drawings that meet milestones and deliverables.
• Prepare external references (xrefs) such as architectural, mechanical and plumbing drawings for large-scale electrical projects.
