Job summary

Jacobs in the United States is seeking an Electrical BIM Designer to support the design and documentation of electrical systems. You will set up and manage Revit BIM models, coordinate with other disciplines, and produce fully coordinated 3D models and 2D construction drawings in line with Jacobs standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years BIM design experience.
• At least 3 years experience in electrical systems design.
• Familiarity with codes and standards.
• Knowledge of wiring and power distribution.
• Proficient with Bluebeam or similar software.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design documentation and BIM model setup for electrical systems.
• Manage Revit models in coordination with discipline leads.
• Create coordinated 3D models across design disciplines.
• Produce 2D construction drawings from models.
