Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of BIM design experience.
• At least 3 years of electrical systems design in the construction industry.
• Growing understanding of codes and standards shaping design decisions.
• Familiarity with design and construction specifications.
• Basic understanding of wiring/cabling connections.
• Experience following client design and modeling standards.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar markup software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to estimate hours for design and modeling from markups.

Responsibilities

• Design documentation and management of Revit BIM models for electrical discipline.
• Coordinate with other discipline BIM leads and team members.
• Create and manage content toward coordinated 3D models across disciplines and 2D drawings.
• Work with the Jacobs design team to translate design intent into constructible deliverables, including clash-free models.
• Collaborate with designers, discipline leads, architects, and engineers to deliver the project.
