Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to join the Data Center Design Engineering team. You will design architectural systems for mission-critical data centers, produce BIM models in Revit, and help deliver scalable, energy-efficient facilities.

You will work with multi-disciplinary teams across regions, maintain construction documents, and support BIM standards while meeting project schedules in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of architectural design experience on mission-critical facilities.
• 4+ years of using Revit for architectural BIM models and construction drawings.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Experience with building codes/regulations for your region.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver data center designs.

Responsibilities

• Design architectural systems for data centers and produce BIM models in Revit.
• Create and maintain construction documents for architectural building systems.
• Develop and publish regional/global templates; enforce BIM standards.
• Coordinate design with other trades and participate in clash detection meetings.
