Job summary

The Misch Group is seeking an experienced Area Manager focused on Electrical, Instrumentation, and Automation to oversee SE New Mexico projects. You will supervise field operations, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure work is performed to the highest standards.

Candidates should have 5–10 years of electrical construction leadership, a related degree, strong safety knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred).
• 5-10 years of experience managing electrical construction projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and regulations.
• Experience with Instrumentation and Automation programming.
• Familiarity with the southeastern New Mexico region is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical operations across multiple project sites in southeastern New Mexico.
• Supervise electrical crews and subcontractors to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure safety, codes, and project specifications compliance.
• Monitor progress, scheduling, budgeting, and site conditions.
• Lead field teams with clear communication and problem-solving.
