Job summary

SA Connects in New Mexico seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead mechanical construction on large industrial and commercial projects. You will own planning, budgeting, scheduling, and field execution for piping, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection from preconstruction through closeout.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 7+ years PM experience, NM CID licenses MM-2/MM-98/MS-12, and proficiency with Procore, MS Project, or Primavera. Travel across NM is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of project management experience in mechanical or large-scale construction.
• CID licenses MM-2, MM-98, MS-12 required.
• Proficiency with PM software: Procore, MS Project, Primavera.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel across New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and manage mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, subcontracts, and change orders
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, and subcontractors to meet scope, quality, and schedule commitments
• Oversee procurement and delivery of materials and equipment for mechanical scopes
• Ensure work complies with CID licensing, codes, and permitting requirements
• Lead and develop project staff, including superintendents, foremen, and field crews
• Champion zero-incident safety culture across all project activities
• Track financials, forecasts, productivity, and monthly reporting
• Support estimating and business development for future mechanical work
