Job summary

MPI seeks a General Superintendent - Data Center to oversee electrical construction activities in New Mexico near El Paso. You will lead field operations, coordinate crews, manage schedules and uphold safety standards across multiple projects.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of electrical drawings, and experience supervising large field teams. Travel to project sites in the region is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent construction experience.
• 4+ years in field supervision or construction management.
• Strong electrical construction background (commercial/industrial).
• Experience leading large field teams and multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple electrical construction projects and field teams of 50+ employees.
• Lead and develop Superintendents, Foremen, Journeypersons, Apprentices and other field personnel.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools and equipment to support project schedules and budgets.
• Review drawings, specifications, schedules and scopes of work to ensure field execution.
• Monitor project safety, quality, productivity, schedule and field performance.
• Identify and resolve construction challenges, coordination issues and resource constraints.
• Partner with Project Management and Operations throughout execution and closeout.
• Maintain relationships with owners, general contractors, engineers, trade partners and vendors.
• Coach and develop field leadership and support performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with Estimating, HR, Accounting, Finance and other internal teams.

The General Superintendent - Data Center will oversee construction activities for data center projects in New Mexico near El Paso, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. This role involves leading field operations to ensure project efficiency, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Comfortable utilizing construction technology and project management systems.

Job Offer
