Job summary

JB&B in New York City is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with Data Center experience to join our Electrical Department as an Associate. Hybrid work from NYC or remote within the U.S. is available.

You will manage electrical design projects from concept through completion, collaborate across disciplines, and communicate directly with clients to ensure technical excellence and financial goals are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7-12 years of experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in design calculations and software tools (Revit, AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of project scope and coordination with other trades.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual design for projects and guide team to completion.
• Serve as day-to-day client contact on projects.
• Manage and review project documents for timely implementation.
• Deliver technically and functionally sound project outputs.
• Present designs at internal and external meetings with confidence.
• Coordinate and update project team to meet deadlines.
• Initiate and manage design changes, proposals, and approvals.
• Execute large/complex Data Center projects from concept to completion.
• Manage staffing, resources, and project finances; support BD efforts.
