Job summary

JB&B, now part of Trinity's Built Environment division, seeks an Associate Electrical Engineer with healthcare project experience to lead electrical design from concept through construction in New York City or remote. This role drives technical excellence on high-profile healthcare environments and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 7–12 years of experience ideally – please apply if you are close to 7 years
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in design calculations and software tools (Revit and AutoCAD) applicable to their discipline
• Strong understanding of trade-specific scope of project, codes, and coordination with other trades
• Knowledge of SD, DD, CD and specifications

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual design for projects and guide the team through project completion
• Act as the day-to-day client point of contact on projects
• Manage and review all project-related documents and ensure timely and accurate implementation
• Responsible for project deliverables technically and functionally
• Present and explain project designs at meetings
• Coordinate and update the project team to meet design expectations and deadlines
• Initiate and manage design changes, proposals, and approvals
• Execute healthcare projects from concept to completion
• Allocate staffing and project resources effectively to avoid overload
• Engage in Financial Management and Business Development
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and industry contacts
