Job summary

Bergelectric is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Tolleson, AZ to assist in managing electrical projects from start-up to closeout. The role supports one or more Project Managers in planning, directing, and coordinating operations, procurement, and financial reporting across a portfolio of jobs.

Responsibilities include tracking costs, coordinating submittals and RFIs, managing change orders, and maintaining documentation with Bluebeam, SharePoint, and other tools.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management or equivalent.
• Experience with takeoffs and change orders.
• Advanced reading of plans and specs.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, NECA and TIA codes.
• Proficient in Microsoft suite, Bluebeam, and estimation software.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering studies, change orders, estimating and situations with engineers.
• Submittals and requests for information.
• Work with owners and clients on specs and technical questions in planning stages.
• Track job costs and predict monthly revenue streams.
• Manage QA/QC on projects.
• Establish monthly billing procedures with owners/clients.
