Job summary

nVent in Oshkosh, WI is seeking an Electrical Assembler/Wirer to build electrical and electromechanical systems for switchgear products. You will follow wiring prints, schematics, BOMs, and perform precise wire termination while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires good hand-eye coordination, ability to read diagrams, and reliable attendance. Prior assembly experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or manufacturing preferred but not required.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow work instructions with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and electromechanical systems used in switchgear manufacturing.
• Perform point-to-point wiring between components following wiring prints and BOMs.
• Measure, cut, route, label, and terminate wire to specified lengths.
• Install and connect terminal blocks, breakers, relays, and other components.
• Interpret work orders, wiring diagrams, and schematics to identify materials and instructions.
• Maintain tools and workstations; keep a clean, safe environment.
