Job summary

Switchgear Power Systems in Wisconsin is seeking a Control Wirer Lead to direct the day-to-day electrical assembly of control panels, mentoring a team of assemblers, ensuring work is accurate, safe, and on schedule. You will coordinate with manufacturing and engineering, and support NCRs and improvements.

You will review blueprints, apply 5S practices, and uphold safety while balancing priorities, overtime, and production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; strong assembly background preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics with accuracy.
• Proficient use of basic hand and power tools; safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily electrical assembly of control panels, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Train and mentor electrical assemblers on duties, processes, and expectations.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve product/process issues and submit NCRs.
• Attend production meetings, manage material needs, and support scheduling.
• Issue parts to work orders in the internal system and perform modifications.
• Maintain 5S standards and keep work centers clean and organized.
