Job summary

Oshkosh IMT division in Garner, IA seeks an Electrical Assembler to read electrical and hydraulic schematics, perform pre-wiring, install options, and train teammates. This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude and experience with basic tools in a heavy manufacturing setting.

You will collaborate with engineers and quality staff, align gears, and help complete truck orders to customer specifications, contributing to a high-quality assembly team in a global company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in heavy manufacturing or assembly.
• Must be skilled in at least twelve (12) of the Electrical Assembler skills matrix quadrants.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics for product lines.
• Complete pre-wiring for console in cab.
• Complete pre-wiring for electronics in box.
• Install electronic options in both cab and box of truck.
• Ability to make and install timer board in the box of the truck.
• Install special electrical options and work with engineers/quality staff.
