Job summary

Volt is hiring an Electrical Assembler in Houston, TX 77039. The role involves assembling and wiring panel devices per schematics, mounting components to back panels and enclosures, and following detailed assembly instructions. Overtime may be required.

Requires 1+ year in electrical/mechanical assembly and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Salary starts at $14.32–$15.32 per hour with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, life, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of electrical and/or mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a safe, efficient manner.
• Good mechanical aptitude for assembly tasks.
• Experience using hand and light power tools safely.
• Ability to lift parts weighing over 50 pounds with assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble using a variety of hand and power tools and fixtures.
• Follow work instructions and test equipment.
• Assemble and wire panel devices according to electrical schematics.
• Mount devices to back panels and enclosures as per drawings.
• Lay out back panels and mount devices; drill and tap as needed.
• Follow detailed assembly instructions and procedures.
• Provide hands-on training to coworkers as needed.
• Comply with the company Quality System policies.
