Aerotek in Pasadena, TX is seeking an Electrical Wireman for a contract-to-hire role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will assemble and wire panel boxes and switchgears, connect cables, crimp wires, and perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.
You should have at least 2+ years of electrical wiring experience, be able to read 1-line and 3-line drawings, and work with both low and medium voltage systems. The position offers onsite work, day shift, and competitive pay.
Join a leading manufacturer of custom-engineered electrical gear for the energy, industrial, and critical infrastructure sectors as an Electrical Wireman. In this role, you will be responsible for the electrical assembly and wiring of panel boxes and switchgears, both low voltage and medium voltage. Your tasks will include connecting cables, crimping wires, and performing mechanical assembly to build the units using personal hand tools and power tools.

The facility is located at 9401 Bay Area Blvd, Pasadena, TX, in a 600,000 square foot space that is clean and organized. This non-climate controlled environment features open bay doors and numerous fans. The production shop is fast-paced and busy, primarily consisting of electrical assemblers and warehouse staff. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, work shirts, and safety glasses. The day shift runs Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, typically involving 11-hour workdays for 5-6 days a week.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, TX.
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
