Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician to perform electrical assembly on generator packages, switchgear, and control panels at our Houston, TX site. You will read work instructions, terminate connections, and diagnose issues with manufacturer software.

This contract-to-hire role offers shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, with onsite work at our Cypress/Houston facility. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in point-to-point wiring.
• 1+ years of experience in continuity testing using a multimeter.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Experience in wire stripping.
• Experience in control panel wiring.
• Understanding of schematics.
• Experience in wiring PLCs and relays.
• Experience in wiring generators or switchgear.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic environment with shifts available from 7AM to 3:30PM for the 1st shift and 4PM to 12:30AM for the 2nd shift. A 3rd shift will be starting soon, and candidates open to this shift are encouraged to specify their availability. The new site is located in Cypress, TX.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
