Job summary

Cec Facilities Llc is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to assist journeymen and master electricians in commercial and industrial electrical installations, alterations, and repairs. The role emphasizes safety, learning the electrical trade, and supporting wiring projects on-site.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to obtain and renew annually a State approved Electrical Apprentice License (TX). Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must obtain and renew annually a State approved Electrical Apprentice License (must be licensed in TX).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assembly, installation, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems in a commercial and industrial setting.
• Prepares work area for installation of equipment.
• Installs or helps install electrical components.
• Connects wiring and equipment as per code and job specification.
• Keeps all materials, tools, and equipment in an orderly and properly working fashion and the work area clean and organized at all times.
• Demonstrates safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment.
• Assists in wire pulls, mounting, and strapping.
• Understands and complies with safety requirements at all times.
• Produces quality of work that meets or exceeds National Electrical Code requirements and Company standards.
• Maintains a positive attitude towards completing job while complying with all Company policies.
