Job summary

CEC Companies is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our team in a fast-paced commercial/industrial environment. You will work under a Journeyman and Master Electrician to install, modify, and repair electrical systems while maintaining safety and code compliance.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and must obtain/renew the TX State Electrical Apprentice License. Travel up to 15% may be required; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential, along with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must obtain and renew annually a State approved Electrical Apprentice License (TX).
• Must be able to pass drug and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, maintain and test electrical equipment and wiring systems in commercial/industrial settings.
• Prepare work area for installation of equipment and ensure materials/tools are organized.
• Assist in wire pulls, mounting, and securing components per code and specifications.
• Follow safety requirements and maintain professional conduct on site.
• Support journeyman/master electricians to ensure project quality and timely completion.
