Job summary

CEC Companies in Irving, TX is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to learn and support electrical installations in commercial and industrial settings.

You will work under a Journeyman and Master Electrician, handling assembly, wiring, safety, and quality in accordance with NEC and company standards. This safety-sensitive role requires a valid TX Apprentice License renewal and a current driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must obtain and renew annually a State approved Electrical Apprentice License (TX).

Responsibilities

• Assembles, installs, maintains and tests electrical equipment and wiring in commercial and industrial settings.
• Prepares work area for installation of equipment.
• Installs or helps install electrical components.
• Connects wiring and equipment per code and job specification.
• Keeps materials, tools, and area organized and clean at all times.
• Demonstrates safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment.
• Assists in wire pulls, mounting, and strapping.
• Understands and complies with safety requirements at all times.
• Produces quality of work meeting NEC requirements and company standards.
• Maintains a positive attitude toward completing job while complying with company policies.
• Performs related duties to ensure efficient project completion.
