Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Service Advisor in California (Bay Area) to serve as the central contact for owners during their service experiences. This level-agnostic posting recruits across seniorities, focusing on empathy, organization, and brand-aligned hospitality.

Expect to manage appointments, translate technician details for customers, coordinate with Parts and Production, and ensure accurate estimates and invoices while delivering Rivian's exceptional service standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; 21+ and valid driver’s license.
• 40-hour work week with possible weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Proficient with laptops, computers, and modern software suites; CRM experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English; strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for Rivian owners from appointment scheduling to vehicle handover.
• Listen to owner concerns, document them, and set clear visit expectations.
• Translate technician notes into clear owner explanations.
• Proactively update owners on vehicle status and timelines.
• Coordinate with Parts and Production to align service visit activities.
• Explain estimates and invoices clearly and accurately.
• Maintain impeccable records of customer communications and repairs.
• Uphold Rivian's hospitality, presentation, and process standards.
• Act as on-site liaison between Rivian's Service Support Operations Center and local Service Centers.
• Assist in launch and setup of new Service Center locations, training initiatives, and process improvements.
