Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking an experienced Work Execution Manager (WEM) to oversee day-to-day maintenance execution for UI-FOD. You will direct maintenance activities for medium and high-voltage systems, align with planning and budget directives, and work with utilities operations, engineering, and stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable facility performance.

Reporting to the MSS-UI group leader, the WEM will participate in the UI Duty Officer program and ensure schedule compliance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience or equivalent
• Knowledge of electrical utility systems, structures, and components
• Understanding of NEC, NESC, OSHA 1910.269 transmission & distribution policies
• Experience supervising employees and presenting reports
• Experience in planning and budget input for maintenance programs

Responsibilities

• Direct and control maintenance efforts for UI FOD Utilities per directives
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to support UI-FOD goals
• Provide input for UI-FOD annual maintenance budget
• Identify and implement preventive maintenance for existing/new equipment
• Direct maintenance procedure development and implementation
• Attend Plan of the Day (POD) meetings for scheduling
• Backup to other WEMs within the UI portfolio as needed
• Support small projects and PMM efforts as directed
