Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our Kansas City, KS operations. You will assemble and tear down heavy-duty electric trucks, following precise work instructions and safety standards.

Candidates should have hands-on manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read engineering drawings. This is a first-shift, contract role with opportunity for continuation based on performance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive, electrical, or manufacturing environments such as semi-trucks, heavy equipment, farm equipment, or terminal trucks.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and tear down heavy-duty electric trucks following work instructions.
• Use engineering drawings and instructions to complete assembly tasks.
• Inspect your work and identify and correct any defects.
• Follow all quality and safety procedures.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Work closely with team members to meet production goals.
