RTX is seeking an Assembly / Test I for its first shift in Lenexa, KS. The role involves assembling, testing, and fabricating components in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. You will follow blueprints, use hand and electrical tools, and ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
• Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a related environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
• Operate hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, and light equipment to perform assembly tasks.
• Maintain inventory of product at assigned workstations for ongoing operations.
• Perform quality checks and record defects for corrective action.
• Rework or repair assembled equipment per engineering specification changes to meet quality standards.
• Adhere to quality standards and safety procedures to ensure a high standard of work.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and promote efficiency.
• Lift up to 25 lbs and stand up to 10 hours daily.
• Be open to international travel for required training.
