Job summary

Aerotek is hiring for a Production Assembler role in a clean, light industrial environment. You will assemble anti-siphoning gas cap assemblies for large vehicles, handle small parts with care, and verify quality through inspections.

Responsibilities include following detailed work instructions, using basic hand tools, packaging finished parts, and maintaining an organized workspace on a 1st shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.). This contract-to-hire position is based in Clackamas, OR.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in general production/manufacturing environments.
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks with consistent quality.
• Comfort with small parts and hand tools.
• Attention to detail in post-assembly inspection.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Reliability and punctuality for 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
• Willingness to work with aluminum automotive parts in a light industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble anti-siphoning gas cap assemblies per work instructions.
• Handle small parts ensuring accurate assembly.
• Use basic hand tools safely and effectively.
• Inspect assembled parts for quality and specs.
• Identify and report defects found during inspection.
• Package completed parts for shipment.
