Job summary

Aerotek seeks an Electrical Assembler to perform wiring and component installation on mid and tail sections of truck bodies. You will test electronic systems, troubleshoot faults, and ensure adherence to safety and quality in a fast-paced production setting.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, wiring harness assembly, and testing; and maintaining a clean, safe workspace while meeting performance goals on the assembly line. Second shift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with electrical wiring and assembly on vehicles.
• Welding certification (AWS D1.1) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical wiring systems and components on truck bodies.
• Install lights, alarms, plugs, cameras and related components.
• Assemble electrical systems, wiring and casings using rivets and bolts.
• Read schematics/blueprints and follow work orders.
• Inspect, operate and test products to meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and wiring problems.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and wear PPE.
• Work on an assembly line in a fast-paced environment.
