Job summary

Qualus Corporation in New Orleans, LA, is seeking a Project Manager in our Program Management department to lead large electric transmission, distribution and substation projects through initiation, planning, execution, and close-out.

The role requires exceptional leadership, 5+ years of PM experience, and strong skills with MS Office and Microsoft Project, delivering on scope, schedule, and cost while coordinating a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of project management experience.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project and MS Office applications.
• Demonstrates leadership and effective communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic PM leadership for large, complex electric substation projects.
• Navigate project life cycle from initiation to close-out.
• Oversee scope, schedule, and cost management of projects.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain the project plan and status updates.
• Assess risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure resources are available to support the project.
