Job summary

Linetec is seeking an Environmental, Health, Safety & Quality (SHEQ) Advisor to partner with operations and promote the EHSQ program across field operations in Austin, TX. The role emphasizes safety culture, incident reviews, and training delivery to ensure compliance with OSHA/NFPA 70e guidelines.

The position requires a high school diploma, 5 years of relevant experience in utility/construction safety, and the ability to travel within the state and occasionally out of state.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Standardize and apply electrical transmission & distribution SHEQ programs.
• Conduct incident reviews and provide reports with root causes.
• Complete internal SHEQ assessments and communicate findings to Leadership.
• Provide SME SHEQ instruction to staff.
• Assist operations with Site Specific Training.
• Arrange additional training for individuals and groups.
• Participate in power up/power down and training programs.
• Oversee the SHEQ reporting process for the area.
• Collaborate with Operations to meet customer needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
