Job summary

NexTier Completion Solutions Inc. seeks an HSE Advisor to supervise and guide district HSE personnel, ensuring health, safety and environmental objectives are met across field operations.

Responsibilities include policy development, training, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes reducing injuries, vehicle accidents, environmental releases, and losses, with regular audits and collaboration with management and external partners.

Qualifications

• Understanding of OSHA, DOT, API, RC, EPA and DOE laws and reporting procedures.
• Knowledge of safety, training and environmental concepts, standards and practices.
• Thorough knowledge of accident investigation and loss control techniques.
• Working knowledge of oil well servicing industry and related equipment/tech.
• Proficient in conflict resolution and positive employee engagement.
• Ability to develop safety programs and present to groups.
• Familiar with Work Planning and Review and Performance Review Systems.
• Understanding basic management concepts: training, goals, organization, motivation.
• Ability to communicate in English for safety and operations directions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety and environmental assessments to promote compliance.
• Develops, implements, and communicates safety policies across field operations.
• Lead accident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Set accident reduction goals using analysis of reports and statistics.
• Identify training needs and support implementation of programs.
• Develop and conduct safety training sessions and drills.
• Promote safety awareness and safe work habits.
• Ensure compliance with drug screening policies (DOT and non-DOT).
• Maintain communication with operations, vendors, institutions and agencies.
